The Primary School Programme promotes curiosity and exploration while enhancing children’s skills in various areas, including reading, writing, listening, speaking, problem-solving, observation, measurement, and the effective use of information and communications technology. It provides an engaging and imaginative learning atmosphere, offering both a separate and a collaborative view of subjects like Languages, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies.

Information and Communications Technology (ICT) enables students to grasp the essentials and advantages of tech in communication. The programme emphasizes individual, small group, and larger group activities to boost children’s collaborative skills at all levels. Physical Education fosters athletic abilities and instills a sense of health awareness. Participation in both team and solo sports promotes teamwork as well as personal achievement.

The extensive range of curricular and extracurricular options fosters confidence and discipline in children. By prioritizing the development of communication skills, students learn to appreciate education’s worth, which is reflected in their ability to articulate their thoughts while acquiring practical skills. Field trips, excursions, activities, projects, and presentations offer practical learning experiences. Engagement in Dance, Fine Arts, Western and Indian Music, Yoga, and Speech and Drama encourages comprehensive growth. Students are motivated to partake in inter-house cultural and sports competitions.

Active learning methods such as free play, dramatizations, puppetry, singing, dancing, and cooking spark their interest in education. Reading books, newspapers, and magazines broadens children’s understanding of the world. Activities like assemblies, concerts, and drama presentations play a key role in building their self-confidence. From Class III onward, involvement in community service exposes students to the needs of their local and global communities; they visit old-age homes and orphanages to gain insight into these environments and to provide support to disadvantaged children.
